Taber Corn Fest!

Some of our friends decided to hit the Taber Corn Fest this year. Given how much John likes corn, it was a pretty easy decision to attend as well. We drove to Taber from Writing on Stone (where we saw the pronghorns), and met up with our friends at the Fest. It was an interesting experience, but given the group we were with, also a lot of fun. The only downside is that it was SO cold!

That's a lot of green beers!

The Queen of Rationalization. I have no idea.

This guy was pretty good. I think he may have been driving over the speed limit though.

Inside of the armoured vehicle.

Pauline looking sheepish at the Heaven booth. John must have talked to them for about 20 minutes. Apparently the moon is only 6000 years old. They know this because there isn't enough dust on it to be older.

Can you spot the spelling error?

Even Maurice got into the fun!

After the Corn Fest, John, Pauline, and I met up with friends at Whoop Up Days on Saturday. Maurice wasn't feel well, so he stayed home. Pauline & I were hoping to have some shaved ice, but they weren't there this year. What a disappointment! We had fun despite that though.
