What? And Flooding

First of all, Paisley isn't allowed on this furniture. Second, this is comfortable?

We had more flooding this June, thought thankfully nowhere near as bad as last year's. Having said that, there were still many people who were affected. We are so lucky we haven't been yet, knock on wood. 

Here are some pictures of the irrigation stream just down from us. 

FLOOD!

The first 2 pictures are from a walk Pauline & I took early on Canada Day. Then we had a massive storm that afternoon, with a tremendous amount of rain. The street in front of our house flooded terribly, as you can see in the pictures. The street, boulevards, and sidewalks should be visible, but the water was knee high at its peak. Fortunately our house was OK, but a house across the street was badly damaged by the water. You can also see that Molly did NOT enjoy the storm!
