Nicholas' 30th Birthday

Nicholas doesn't actually turn 30 until August 18, but he & Sarah will be away then, so we celebrated yesterday. If you looked at the previous post, you know we had to abandon the mini-golf tournament due to inclement weather, so we went straight to Kevin & Liz's. Kevin & Liz had returned on Thursday after more than 3 months away (wedding, honeymoon, etc), so it was great that they agreed to host.

Courtney & Stefan had gone to Sturgis for the bike rally, and had just arrived home yesterday after 1200km of driving. Which of course came after several days of non-stop partying. Needless to say, they were very tired, and Courtney required a nap.

The little girl, Mia, belongs to Shawn & Wim, and is the cutest kid around.

Kevin is using the stainless steel Weber BBQ the Lethbridge group gave him & Liz for their wedding gift. Yummy results!

DQ ice cream cake for Nicholas. I picked it up, and they tried to give me one that said Happy 16th Morgan! I was momentarily tempted, but then thought that would be mean to Morgan.
