Third Trip to Waterton!

The four of us went to Waterton this morning. We started the day with the short hike around Cameron Lake. The weather was funny. It was sunny and cloudy. Every now and again a huge gust of wind would blow through. We could hear it before we felt it. Sometimes it seemed that the wind was gathering water from the lake. There was a swirling mist coming up from the surface of the lake. It rained a little, but not enough to deter us. Fortunately the rest of the day was nice. It's windy now though.

After Cameron Lake we toured the townsite, but all we bought was some fudge!

Then we went to the Prince of Wales Hotel for high tea. It was a lot of fun. I had green tea, John had the Prince of Wales blend, Pauline had English Breakfast, and Maurice opted for coffee. We were served 2, 3 tiered dishes of yummy looking food. There were scones, little sandies, carrot cake, and baklava. I ate the strawberries and gooseberries. I also got a small fruit salad, since I couldn't eat the goodies. All in all, it was a great day.

We're all tired now though, and I think it'll be an early night for everyone. Even Molly is tired from daycare. Apparently she was trying to catch the attention of a pit bull, but was ignored. Poor dog, she finally wants to play and can't get a playmate!
