Local Bike Tour

This is the path I normally take to work, except I'd be riding up it, not down as I am here.

Since it was nice this morning for a change, I took a ride on some paths that I don't normally use. It was quite scenic, and lovely until about 11:30am, at which point the skies opened. Fortunately I had just finished cutting the grass.
The pictures at the very top are taken from the east side of the river, looking toward the University. The building that keep appearing is University Hall, where John's office is. It's actually built into the coulee. Very cool.
The Oldman River is really high because of all the rain we've had in May. Too much rain! I'm looking forward to summer, assuming we're going to have one. The pelicans that are usually hanging around seem to have disappeared. One solitary pelican was left. I think it's because the island where they usually hang out is covered with water. If they come back I'll try to get some shots of the group. I like them.
The deer were hanging around the University, as they often are. I hadn't seen them in a while, so I was happy to see them again.
