We're fostering a rescue pup for the first time. She is a doberman/shepherd cross, 3 months old. Until yesterday she had never been outside. Never. The poor thing ended up at the daycare with all the other dogs, then in a car, which she's never been in, then a yard, then a new house with new people & a new dog. Needless to say, the poor pup was terrified. She's doing a lot better now. She's sleeping on one of Molly's cushions. And she just peed outside for the first time ever in her life, which is very exciting. I think she's going to be a really great dog. She's very smart, and I think will have a fun personality once she's less nervous of all the changes in her life.
Molly isn't too excited by all of this, but apparently it takes most dogs a couple of foster pups before they get used to it.
We may have her only until Monday, as apparently there are some people interested in adopting her. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, check out the pictures of her.
She sure is a cutie! I'm glad she found a good home.
