Paisley

We braved the weather and the roads to make another trip to see Paisley this past weekend. We are really glad we did. She's obviously changed tremendously since she was 3 weeks old. Now she is funny, confident, and playful. She likes playing with dogs, people, and toys. I hope spending some time with us will make it less traumatic for her when we bring her home. I am really looking forward to having her here finally. It's been so wonderful to watch her grow up, but it's hard to wait!

I do think she will be a pesky pup though! She'll be a troublemaker for sure. We'll have our work cut out for us, I suspect. Still, she'll settle into a great dog soon enough.

Here are some pictures of our visit. We stayed at a little cabin right across from the breeder's house (http://home.cablelan.net/marahouse/). The adults dogs are Cricket & Panda. Cricket loves the blue ring, and wants someone to throw it for her. Panda is sweet, and is great with the pups. I didn't get any pictures of Sassy or Ulysses for some reason. I'll try to do that next time. I should have some pictures of Paisley's parents, after all!

Snow in April

We just had another April snowstorm. We got waaay more snow than was predicted. And of course it was heavy because it's so warm. Poor John hurt his ribs shovelling. Fortunately it's pretty, because the snow has nothing else going for it at this time of year!

Horses in a Snowstorm

John & I went out for dinner at Plum last night (really good - you should go if you haven't), so I took my camera to get a picture. We stopped at the SAAG and I took these. Poor little horses, caught in a snowstorm!
