Boy, no one is happy with the snow we still have, especially since it's almost May. It's supposed to be 19 tomorrow though, so that should be the end of it. I've just had my bike serviced, so I want get out for some rides this weekend. Unfortunately, I hurt my knee the other day. I have a medial meniscus tear, which is a pain (literally, on occasion!), since I am hoping to do a triathlon in July. I can't run for a while, but I can bike & swim. The perils of getting old!
Here are some pictures of the snow on our roof.
Now that we've moved away from Toronto, we thought this might be a good way to keep in touch, and let people know what's going on with us here in Lethbridge.

Nice Day for a Race
Yesterday when we got up, we were in the middle of a snowstorm. Unfortunately, I had signed up for a race that morning. So I ran it, despite the storm. It was the worst race I've ever run. The weather wasn't the problem, I was! I got a stitch before I hit the first hill, and just couldn't get rid of it. It was also really slippery, and I was really afraid of falling. I have to get over that. It was so bad I'm not even going to tell you my time! My run in March was much better. I came 19th in my age category, which was a much better result.

A Storm Rolls In
One thing about living in Lethbridge, bad weather can't sneak up on you, you see it coming. There was a snowstorm in Calgary this morning, and although we didn't get that, we have had some interesting cloud formations threatening bad weather. Here are some pictures that Molly & I took this afternoon, near the Popson Park area.
